Calling all young people with a passion for building community! Prevention First invites you to attend the Youth Track of the Connections in Prevention Conference on October 16-17, 2025 at the Chicago Marriott Naperville. The Youth Track of the conference will allow student leaders to discuss challenges that youth and their peers may face. Participants will learn from industry experts, develop their leadership and prevention skills, and discover how to take charge of their futures. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow, connect, and make a difference!
All youth participants must have an adult chaperone on-site during the conference. We welcome youth from all backgrounds, geographical locations, and involvement levels to apply.
Applicant Criteria:
- Youth in grades 9th-12th (during the 2025-2026 school year)
- Youth interested in becoming advocates for healthy environments for themselves and their peers
- Youth who want to learn more about the prevention field and how to affect change
This opportunity is free for youth, and youth chaperones will receive one complimentary conference registration for the Connections in Prevention Conference. Please note that one adult may chaperone up to seven (7) youth attending the conference. All travel and lodging costs are the responsibility of those attending. Applications are due by July 1, 2025.
